Frequently Asked Questions

  •  How can I get a doll?

Shop updates (aka: doll drops/releases/restocks) generally occur on the 4th Friday of each month at 3pm PST (4pm MST, 5pm CST, 6pm EST).  Restocks are typically fairly small and go pretty fast once dolls are posted.  By creating an account before the drop and familiarizing yourself with the site and available items check out will go much faster.   Join us on social media for updates on drop schedules.

  • Is there a limit to what I can buy?

Yes.  As a one person small shop there is only so much I can do at any given time.  With the growth my shop has seen over the past year, I find that having a one doll (or swaddle) and/or kit limitation helps more people 'score' and allows more people the opportunity to enjoy my creations.  In the event that more than the limit is exceeded without prior and specific authorization, I will unfortunately have to cancel the order(s) in full.

  •  What’s the difference between each type of doll?

Heirloom dolls are a beautiful blend of luxury and art. Each have textile hair typically made with yarn or wool felt using a process called needle felting.  Facial features are embroidered and you have the option to add personalization or customized painted and/or embroidered tattoos.  With unattached clothes to allow endless options for dress up play, heirloom dolls are recommended for 4+ and gentle play.

Print Pals are dolls that I draw and digitally create then have printed on cotton fabric.  From there I cut, sew, and stuff each doll.  Clothes are designed and printed directly on to the doll, tho both our Full sized and Small sized clothes should fit well enough if you desire.  Print Pals typically are offered as a medium sized doll and swaddle babes and are great to throw in the wash.

Loveys are also referred to as blanket dolls by some.  They are dolls that have a detailed painted face with a blanket body and fall within the Classic collection. Loveys have a minky or faux fur back, and double gauze or cotton tummy.  Younger children find comfort in the ease to carry and ability to snuggle with this doll type.  Supervised play recommended.

Swaddle Babes are dolls that appear to be swaddled in a blanket so they are just the head and body with no attached arms or legs.  They are the perfect gripping size for infants and toddlers.  Supervised play recommended.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommend infants not sleep with toys or items until they are 12 months old.

  •  How big are your dolls?

Full size dolls stand approximately 21” tall.

Small dolls stand about 12” tall.

Print Pal dolls stand about 15” tall

Loveys are about 11” wide and 15” tall.

Swaddle babes are about 6” tall.

  •  How do custom orders work?

The custom order waitlist is currently booked out about 2.5 years.  I am no longer accepting custom orders or adding to my waitlist until I can get caught up and reduce my wait time.

To receive a customized/personalized doll, you can purchase our 'Add On' option with purchase of an heirloom doll during a regular release.  I am happy to add painted/embroidered tattoos, personalization (name, freckles, etc), and/or specific outfits.  These added touches take about 2 weeks before shipping and you will receive my thoughts, sketches, and 'proofs' before I begin and before I ship.

  •  Do you accept Sezzle?

Yes!  Tho, it has been brought to my attention that there is a slight lag where Sezzle doesn't communicate with inventory and may oversell items.  Due to the nature of my shop updates, and since each doll is one of a kind, in the event that there is a duplicate order the Sezzle purchase will be refunded.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note that Sezzle can be used during any preorder and for custom orders.

  •  Do you work with reps?

 Not at this time.

  •  Are there discounts or rep codes?

Since each item is handmade after my kids go to sleep and stock is limited, I don't offer many discounts. On the rare occasion that one may become available I will announce it in my Facebook VIP group.  Be sure to follow us there.

  •  What’s the turn around time?

Most dolls are ready to ship.  However, in many drops I complete most dolls in time for the drop then complete finishing touches within 7-10 days of ordering.

Add-ons and made to order items take approximately 2-3 weeks to ship.

Preorders are 8-10 weeks before shipping.

Existing custom orders are booked out about 2.5 years.  I am not accepting new custom orders at this time.

  •  How do I care for my doll?

Spot clean with a damp cloth or soft toothbrush as needed. For deep cleaning, mix 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup warm water, and 1tsp dish soap in a spray bottle.  Avoiding the hair, spray doll and let air dry.
Remember to never brush your doll’s hair.  A gentle comb through with your fingers will do the trick.

Print Pals can be spot cleaned with the method above, or machined washed when necessary.  Air dry only.

  •  Sensitivity concerns

Fabric is prewashed in my home using vinegar and a small amount of liquid detergent by The Laundress.

There are no pets or smoking in my household.

I will occasionally store fabric near dried lavender. The smell typically disappears by the time it arrives to your door.
